Acknowledgements

My mentorship program is the culmination of the very best of influences that many people have had in my own personal development as a player and instructor. All have had a hand in what is important to me as vital knowledge, strategy, techniques, and principles to the games of 8-ball, 9-ball, 10-ball, Snooker, Straight Pool, and One Pocket, and the great game of Life that we all play every day and should never take for granted.  For these reasons, I would like to thank the following…  

PBIA Master Instructor Randy Goettlicher for laying the foundation for instructors for decades.  Bay Area retired pro George Michaels for lending a keen eye and friendship, and advice when needed.  Oscar Dominguez for literally saving pool in all of California and beyond by his enthusiasm for all games, and re-introducing sportsmanship and fair play at the highest level.     

And of course, beyond all doubt, to my wife Sharon who has supported me in every road I have traveled singularly in pool, and together with her in this wonderful game of life  

POSTHUMOUSLY - Tom Butler (MY very first mentor), “Filipino” Gene Ventura and Dave “Piranha” Piona, both of whom mentored so many great players in San Francisco and all over Northern California and beyond. Fellow Canadian George Tanner who at the age of 102 won a weekly San Francisco tournament. (THAT is my new goal in life – to live that long AND continue to play!)  Scott Lee for a warm handshake and a wealth of knowledge.   My good friend "Gentleman" John Henderson - teammate, One-Pocket Hall of Famer, and perhaps one of the best story-tellers of this game ever. His presence in any pool hall always made it a brighter place! 

MOST importantly, the incomparable and late Hal Houle, whose 2 years of mentoring ME in aiming systems changed my game forever and brought me rapid success as well as the many lives of others whom he has touched. Thanks to Hal, I have mastered, utilized and teach several aiming systems which will immediately impact and improve anyone’s game!
